Catching up on my GG has me missing NY and I've started organizing all my photos from the big city as a way of coping. I came across this (really bad, I know) shot of Lynn Yaeger that just reminds me of perching myself on a sunny stoop in soho and waiting for something, or nothing, or new york to happen.
In this months Vogue she writes about dealing with losing a job she's been brilliant at for decades (Village Voice) and buying snakeskin on a freelancers budget. I think she is just wonderful and I'm so happy I have this photo to remember the moment. hearts.

a scrap book of sorts
We are two best friends: Sarah and Lara.
We have been collaging together since we were in kindergarten. From hilroy to apple, the medium has changed but the message remains the same.
We get by with a little help from our friends,
xoxo

So that's what Boy George is doing for his community service. Fixing the streets with orange hair.
